Why Security Matters for Collection Data
Collection records are the memory of the museum: what it owns, where each object is and in what condition. An unauthorised change, a lost record or an unsafe file can have consequences for years.
Muselera protects this data with access control, safe sessions, careful file handling and a complete trail of who did what.

Sign-In Everywhere
Every screen and every service of the application requires a signed-in user.
Role-Based Permissions
Changes and lists are authorised per role. Moving objects, persons and organisations, acquisitions and condition checks each have their own permissions.
Secure Sessions
When a session expires the user is sent to the sign-in page and, after signing in again, returns to the page they were working on.
Safe File Uploads
Only allowed file types can be uploaded; potentially harmful types such as HTML, SVG or JavaScript files are rejected.
Deleted Users Stay Out
Users who have been deleted can no longer sign in.
Logged User Actions
User actions are recorded, so it is always clear who did what and when.

Locked Condition Records
Condition check records lock after 24 hours; mistakes are fixed with correction records.
